Every morning we follow a sort of routine that we fell into somehow. I love it. I actually miss it during the weekends... I think that's partly why I love Mondays. The return of our routine! I never saw myself as a person who needs structure but as Riley gets older I'm learning that I need a schedule, to stay on top of things. Having a routine helps us have some family time in the morning which I think is so important. I try to make it a point for us to eat breakfast together every morning. I cherish those times, and I think that it helps get our day started on the right foot.
How do you feel about Mondays?

I woke up in good spirits too today. I felt renewed and refreshed. Since my hubby it out of the house so early, mornings are my quiet time before the kiddies wake up. Monday are great!!
Mondays suck for me. My husband wakes up and leaves before we do. I wake up get Adonis ready, he goes to daycare while I go to work.
I miss the weekends because it's our time to be together and have fun as a family. After work Jason has school work to do, so it's just me and Adonis in the evenings.
Margaret,
I too like Mondays because it is the start of our routine. During the weekends, everything falls apart; we get a little lazy and do whatever we feel like doing.
As far as everyday (even though you didn't ask :)), I love and am thankful for each day because it is another opportunity to do it right all over again; anything is possible.
Mondays kinda suck for me. It reminds me that Will is going to be gone for a whole for days. We only get to see him for an hour during the day. I love the weekends. When he's off the academy and work.

I know exactly what you mean! i am starting to love monday's when as before i HATED them!!
I used to hate Mondays back when I had a 9 to 5. Then I started enjoying them when I got a job I loved, then I hated them again when that job became overwhelming. 60hrs a week + IVF = not cool.
Now I love them. My husband is off on Mondays but no one else is, so we get things done AND enjoy extra time together w/o having to go to a bunch of events.
