Teething & necklaces.

It seems like Riley is always teething. She is constantly getting new teeth. So far she's up to twelve teeth, and two more just broke through. Her bottom gums are swelling a bit so that means two more will be following. Thankfully, those will be the last two until the 2-year old molars, which she'll probably get well before she's 2. Ha. I'm hoping that the teething will be over and done with by the time Beck gets here. Hoping!
Teething for Riley hasn't been that difficult. It usually lasts about a week, and really only at night. We've been really lucky. This time however, it seems that she's been teething during the day and at night. Yesterday morning for instance she spent about two hours crying on and off and laying on the floor stuffing blankets, toys and her paci into her mouth. I tried holding her and rocking her but that didn't help. When she finally calmed down I gave her my necklace to wear. That made her so happy! Leif doesn't like her playing with it because well it was $75, &he's scared she'll break it. I on the other hand don't mind because she's careful with it. Plus she looks so pretty in it :)
